City of London Youth Services

Looking for something to do after school? Join one of our youth clubs or the boxing club, take part in a range of activities with the 1st City of London Scouts Group, City Police Cadets, make new friends and get involved in the city youth forum.

The City of London Corporation commission weekly youth sessions held in Artizan Community Library, Portsoken Community Centre and Golden Lane Community Centre.

The weekly youth sessions are held during term time and are open for young people who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. Please see each youth session for minimum age.

The Barbican and Community Libraries also run after school and homework clubs. Information on these sessions can be found here.

Events and activities are also run by The Barbican Centre 

City Youth Summer Programme 2020

Our drop in youth sessions are somewhere for young people to relax in a safe and friendly environment staffed by qualified youth workers. We offer access to trips, activities and the Youth Summer Programme.

The provider of these services includes: the London Borough of Tower Hamlets; City YMCA; and Prospects. All of these services have been commissioned to deliver activities and sessions for eight-19 years olds (up to 25 year olds for young people with SEND) in the City of London at Golden Lane Community Centre, Middlesex Street and Mansell Street.
