Abi Jude Psychotherapy
Sometimes things happen in our life that can challenge or frustrate us. If you are feeling stressed, sad or hopeless we can have a confidential talk to find out how I can work with you to find a more fulfilling way of living.
Psychotherapy can help with many emotional issues that you may face.
I specialise in intimacy, relationship and dating therapy, helping people to identify what does or doesn't work for them in their intimate and personal relationships.
I also work with parents and their relationships with their partners, ex partners and children.
Is your working life causing you worries or concerns, do you struggle to assert yourself, are you being bullied, do you have an unhealthy 'work / life' balance. Counselling for career issues can help.
I have specific interest working with creatives and freelancers, having worked in film and media myself.
Whether you are thinking of dating for the first time or you have tried speed dating, dating agencies and online apps but still not met the right person, Dating Therapy and Date Coaching can help you to approach your search with confidence. You can join one of my 'Date Coaching' Groups or see me for One to one Dating Therapy & Date Coaching.

I believe that we can create the life we would like, and therapy can help us to form what we'd like for ourselves.
I work with people in a confidential one to one setting, to build a trusting relationship. I will listen and empathise so we can develop what you would like for yourself at this stage in your life and what you'd like from your wider relationships, so you can take charge over your experience.
I have been working as a therapist for the last seven years. I have also worked in the film and media industry for 20+ years and more recently I have worked as senior consultant for a matchmaking company as a date coach. I now work freelance and I enjoy working with creativity, intelligence and purpose. I understand the pressures that work, family and relationships can place on us and the importance of how we manage our experience within these parts of our life and find a satisfying balance.
I am also a working mother and have worked with both men and women on the challenges that separations/divorce, work/life balance and parenthood can bring us. I enjoy working with people in the creative industries, freelancers and looking at how we experience creativity whatever our chosen work.
I bring my warmth, integrity and understanding to the work, with a commitment to holding a safe and boundaried space for you. If you have any questions about how I could work with you then please call or email me to arrange an initial, exploratory session.
I have worked at the Daubeney Children's Centre, in addition to working at Mind with men and women, so have experience when working with mothers and their children, relationship issues with partners, breakups, violence, depression, rape, abuse, stress, anxiety, fear and a feeling of being stuck or lacking choice in our lives.
I have also worked in a challenging job within the media for over 20 years, and have experience of dealing with work stress, career management, transition and change.
